Mapping Miami with Buen Provecho Collective

Buen Provecho Collective and O, Miami team up for the poetry edition of Mapping Miami, a participatory art and digital archiving project that invites Miamians to map, document, and reflect on the city.

O, Miami’s Z. Yasmin Waheed will guide us in writing poetic responses to these reflections, which will later be uploaded to the project’s interactive digital map. Eventually, each map point will reveal a unique poem about the location, forming a growing, community-driven & collaborative archive of Miami’s cultural memory.

Centered on lived experience and celebrating Miamians’ own perspectives, Mapping Miami uses public art and technology to preserve the stories of a rapidly changing city.\
