"O," is the poetic address of the beloved. "Miami" is our beloved. Everything we do programmatically is meant to address our home, Miami.

Thanks for asking! Please visit our Donate page. All donations are tax deductible.

The festival takes place annually, beginning on April 1st and closing on April 30th. To see the things we've done over the years visit our Projects & Events page. O, Miami also offers programming year-round.

Visit our festival page for the latest and most updated information. Please be advised however that events and projects happen throughout the month of April and are scattered geographically. Because the goal of the festival is for every single person in Miami to encounter a poem, for the most part, we bring the festival to YOU. That said, we love visitors! The vast majority of our events are free and open to all ages.

We are committed to working with ADA-accessible venues. If you are interested in attending an O, Miami event and are concerned about its accessibility, please contact us. You can learn more about O, Miami’s auxiliary aids and accessibility services policy here.

Because the mission of the festival is to reach people who don't go to poetry readings, we don't do a lot of traditional readings, and we don't have a process to apply to be a reader. You can however propose a festival event or project.

We look for originality; adherence to our goal of reaching Miami audiences; and, to a lesser degree, a demonstrable ability to execute the project.

Sometimes! Any calls for poems are announced on our submission page.

Usually not, but check our submission page for the most up-to-date information. Any calls will be listed there.
