Bicycle Poets

The Bicycle Poets were a group of Miami poets, organized by Jeffrey Knapp, who biked to schools to do readings in the 1990s.

In memory of Knapp, the group reforms (and adds a couple new members) to do a series of bicycle readings around Miami.

The ride culminates at 6 p.m. in Soundscape Park on Miami Beach, as MDC Live Arts presents an O, Miami edition of Acoustic Bicycle.

Composer and musician Taylor Ho Bynum arrives in the park with a group of free-wheeling Peddling Poets who present site-specific poetry and music on bicycles.
