“Lo que tengo son letras/What I have are letters” is a variation of the beloved game of dominos. Using words and phrases instead of numbers, it celebrates the poetic language—known as dichos—used by domino players from diasporic communities throughout South Florida while inviting players to share their own.
Lo que tengo son letras popped up at the following events and locations:
April 17th - Where Mangos Drop: O, Miami Variety Show
presented by Miami Beach OnStage!
April 18th - Westchester Regional Library
April 19th - Miami Zine Fair
April 23rd - ZipOdes Finale
