Jai Alai magazine #4 Release

April 17, 2015, 7pm

800 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach

Jai Alai magazine, a literary journal produced by O, Miami, continues its countdown to zero with the release of its seventh issue (Issue #4).

Miami-based writers Sarah Trudgeon, Carlos Pintado, Ana María Caballero, Xatherin Lizette González, Legna Rodríguez Iglesias, and Cuban poets Lleny Díaz Validivia and Maria Elena Hernández Caballero will read from their work, published and otherwise. Digital projections of drawings by Nicole Salcedo, Stephanie Benhaim, Zachary Schomburg, and other contributing visual artists will frame the reading throughout.

In addition to the regular issue, a special zine edition of the journal produced in collaboration with Coloform will be available for purchase from an in-house Zine Machine—one of two coin-operated sticker vending machines repurposed for guerrilla literary distribution during O, Miami 2015 by our friends over at Books Are Nice. The cost of the zine is $1. All purchases must be made in quarters, so don’t forget your coin purse.

Complimentary Jai-Alai IPA will be served, courtesy of Cigar City Brewing.
