consider rebirth: workshop + sound bath
Project by Agua Dulce with support from Sayje Hewitt & Houston Cypress
Presented in partnership with AIRIE-Artists in Residence in the Everglades
April 8th brings the first new moon of spring and a solar eclipse. Mark this celestial day with a poetry workshop and sound bath guided by artist Agua Dulce with support by sound healer Sayje Hewitt.
Somatic healing is a body-centric approach to processing and releasing stress, tension, and trauma from the body. Participants are encouraged to reflect on what they would like to release, transform, and call into their lives. Integrating this session with a sound bath will allow participants to relax, soften, and flow in alignment with the change they seek.
This event will open with a land acknowledgment by Houston Cypress.
