Conjuring Spirits is back for a Halloween edition! Join us for a ghost tour of the Stone House and secret wine cellar, an ekphrastic poetry workshop led by Caridad Moro-Gronlier, wine, bites (food not vampire), and a chilling photo op courtesy of Liquid Death. Costumes encouraged!

Poet Caridad Mor-Gronlier leads participants through ekphrastic poetry by generating new work inspired by and in conversation with the “spirits” that exist at The Deering Estate—both spectral and alcoholic. The estate provides participants with the opportunity to explore the property from a historical, cultural, environmental, and personal perspective.

Caridad Moro-Gronlier is the author of Tortillera (TRP 2021) and Visionware (Finishing Line Press 2009). She is the Associate Editor for SWWIM and a career educator who resides in Miami, FL, with her family.
