  • Domaine L’Ecu, Janus, Loire Valley, France, 2019

About your facilitators

Laura Gill (she/her) is a writer, photographer, and editor. Her essays have appeared in Agni, The Los Angeles Review, Electric Literature, and The Carolina Quarterly, amongst others. She edits nonfiction for Hobart.

Bianca Sanon (she/her) is a certified sommelier and service industry worker based in Miami, FL. A native of South Florida, she moved to New York City at the age of 18 to study at Columbia University, and although she spent time considering a career in corporate fashion, she quickly developed a passion for restaurants and hospitality. She is the co-owner/operator of Paradis Books & Bread, a cafe, bookstore & natural wine bar, and bottle shop located in North Miami. Paradis Books & Bread is owner-operated and offers an intimate and communal space to the people of South Florida and beyond. As a reflection of a group of friends who have grown and learned together over the years, every aspect of the space has emerged out of their personal experiences, interests, and politics.
