O, Miami & BFI Present WEIRD MIAMI Dream Bus Tour

O, Miami is collaborating with Bas Fisher International for a poetry-inspired WEIRD MIAMI bus tour led by surrealist poet Mathias Svalina. We will visit sites of imaginary and unreal historical events and stop in spots where what did not or could not have happened, happened.

Just as history happens at the end of a sentence, in the newest eyes that see a city, this tour treats the city’s history with the lyric logic of the poem, and the expansive nonsense of the dream.

The tour considers how history is crafted & for whom. Participants will be encouraged to find their own ways of rewriting & newly redreaming their city.

Ticket price includes lunch and beverages. Please bring your own reusable water bottle.

We will embark on a mystery expedition at 10 am, starting and ending in the Aquatic Parking Lot of Amelia Earhart Park. Parking is free.
