Readings by 2013 Presidential Inaugural poet Richard Blanco; Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore; poet Frank Báez, and screenwriter Megan Amram inside the New World Symphony Hall.
The evening also featured a reading of a Donald Justice poem; readings by the winners of the "That's So Miami" poetry contest sponsored by WLRN; and screenings of original short poetry films by the Borscht Corp.
Thurston Moore was introduced by Sweat Records' Lolo Reskin. Blanco was introduced by Campbell McGrath.
O, Miami and Sweat Records hosted an afterparty at The Freehand.
