The second edition of The Betsy’s inspired (and filling) combination of poetry and paella, featuring poet Gerald Stern, who appears in collaboration with the Academy of American Poets. Also featuring poets Anne Marie Macari, reading from her new collection, Red Deer (Persea Books, 2015), Major Jackson, and Carlos Pintado. A community reception follows with literary libations and birthday cake to commemorate the third anniversary of The Writer’s Room at The Betsy Hotel.

UPDATE: Due to illness, Gerald Stern will not be able to join us. In his absence, the other poets will read some of his work.
