Gramp Bar, Wynwood
"POET-IN-DECADENCE" - Gramps Bar in Wynwood hosted a different kind of writer-in-residence program for O, Miami 2014: The Gramps Poet-in-Decadence Writer's Residence.
Each “residency” lasted one night during the month of April 2014, with each “Poet-in-Decadence” given the last stool at the end of Gramps Bar.
For each poem that the poet wrote on a cocktail napkin and handed to the bartender, the poet received one beer.
In subsequent years when we did this project, we instituted a two drink maximum.
