Hued Songs and Bookleggers Library present a multimedia performance inspired by gay Harlem Renaissance legend Richard Bruce Nugent's "Smoke Lilies and Jade," in collaboration with The Underline and O, Miami.

Join us before the show to engage with Portrait at 34. Created by Najja Moon, Portrait at 34 is a custom-designed photo booth that travels Miami producing portraits paired with age-specific poems for each participant. The featured poems were sourced from students across Miami-Dade County, participating local poets, and writers in community with poet Kamilah Aisha Moon.

Along with the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Poetry Award ceremony honoring Reverend Houston Cypress presented in partnership with the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center.
