"Someday I'll Love ______ : Odes To Self" is a 2-hour workshop led by poet Hanif Abdurraqib.

Using the poems "Katy" by Frank O'Hara, "Someday I'll Love Roger Reeves" by Roger Reeves, and "Someday I'll Love Ocean Vuong" by Ocean Vuong, Abdurraqib will teach you how to write a love poem to yourself.

Hanif Abdurraqib is a poet, writer, and cultural critic from Columbus, Ohio. His first book of poems, The Crown Ain't Worth Much was released to critical and commercial acclaim in 2016 by Button Poetry. Additionally, he is a Callaloo Creative Writing Fellow and a writer for MTV News, where he writes about the intersections of music, culture, and identity. His essays have been published by The New York Times, ESPN the Magazine, and The Nation.
