Forces of Nature: The Great Miami Brainstorm of 2126

Saturday, April 11th 2026

5-7pm

The SUSTAIN Lab at Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences, UM, Virginia Key

$25

Supported by The CLEO Institute and held at UM's SUSTAIN Lab, which contains an immersive 75-foot-long, 38,000-gallon wind-wave hurricane simulation tank known as a “category 5 learning experience,” Forces of Nature: The Great Miami Brainstorm of 2126 will engage participants in climate narratives from Miami’s past, present, and future while asking the question: What does it mean to be a force of nature?

Join the Great Miami Brainstorm of 2126 and embark on a guided journey through space, time, and states of matter—just like the weather phenomena that traverse our skies and tides.
