O, Miami invites you to apply for our 2024-2025 Poetry Coalition Fellowship

O, Miami is accepting applications for community members who are currently located in South Florida for a paid fellowship opportunity.

About the Fellowship

You will join an inaugural cohort of fellows supporting creative projects through the Poetry Coalition, a national alliance of nearly thirty organizations working together to promote the value poets bring to our culture and the important contribution poetry makes in the lives of people of all ages and backgrounds.

Fellowship Details

9 month term: September 16, 2024 - June 20, 2025

Role: Part time, independent contractor limited to 15-20 hours weekly

Rate: $1500 per month, paid bi-weekly

O, Miami Fellowship work will be hybrid: online with occasional obligations for in-person engagement inclusive of nights and weekends.

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis, beginning July 9, 2024 via Submittable. A candidate will be selected no later than August 24, 2024.

O, Miami welcomes volunteers who'd like to get involved in our annual festival, which takes place the entire month of April.

Past volunteers have become fellows, staff members, and board members. We aim to create a welcoming community around Miami and poetry.
